Manipulation lines of weak and medium matter
Manipulation lines of weak and medium mass are used for the manipulation of raw logs with a maximum diameter:
- 35 cm – weak mass
- 45 cm – medium mass
Due to the limited transport options, the maximum length is around 16 - 18 m. The approximate output of the line, depending on the average input weight and the produced assortment of cut-outs, is in the range of 15-30 thousand m3 of material per year in single-shift operation. The lines are always configured according to the customer's requirements and can be equipped with a whole range of technological nodes.
Raw logs are deposited from the hauling rigs onto a cross chain storage conveyor. Separation of stock into individual trunks takes place either automatically - unattended (elevator-dispenser system) or by means of a manually controlled hydraulic arm. This is followed by possible debarking, electronic measurement (one or two-projectile, possibly 3-d measurement) and a pruning knot. The finished cutouts are punched into a predetermined box through belt or chain sorters. Waste from the cut-off saw area and from the storage dump area is removed via dump conveyors into boxes or containers.
